Can the Click product be applied on wet surfaces?
Our Click flooring can be applied in wet areas, it must be dried immediately when exposed to water. There should not be excessive and permanent water on the surface. Note: Only the flooring material is 100% waterproof. Moisture and floods can still affect the lower layer/substrate, which can cause product deterioration. However, the flooring material can be removed. It can be dried and re-installed.
How long is the warranty period? Is the ground under the LVT also under the warranty?
The warranty period for LVT products is 5 years for commercial and 10 years for housing. In this case, please take the Warranty Terms into consideration. Only the LVT floor product is included in the warranty.
Can we apply the Click product by ourselves?
Our LVT flooring can be easily applied by yourself. Refer to the Application and Maintenance Instructions.
What are the differences between the 2.5 mm and 5 mm product? Can you walk me through the product selection process?
Our LVT flooring products; 2.5 mm Dry-Back product is applied with glue. 5mm click is installed with click-through click system, floating system. 5mm click product is for large areas; It is recommended not to be used in areas exceeding 80m2 and exposed to sunlight and/or wet areas. Instead, the 2.5mm Dry Back product is recommended. 5 mm Click products can be used in areas other than these.
Is it necessary to use glue on a raised floor or Loose-Lay product?
Apply Loose-Lay with the recommended adhesives. You can get support from the manufacturer Technical Services.
Can the product be used in hospitals?
LVT flooring can be used in hospitals and LVT has antibacterial properties.
Can the cable channel, floor conduit box and expansion strip be fixed to the floor with silicone in Click applications?
Fixing the LVT Click flooring with silicone is not suitable. The margins and the middle parts must move.
Will LVT products be damaged by UV radiation?
Avoid prolonged exposure of the flooring to direct sunlight. Minimize the impact of sunlight directly on the floor covering using a curtain or sun visor during times of strong sunlight. Most types of floor coverings tend to discolor when exposed to direct sunlight. In addition, high temperatures affect the quality of LVTs.
Which adhesive products should be preferred in Dry-Back applications? How many grams of adhesive is recommended to M2?
Refer to the Maintenance and Repair Guide for adhesives that should be used in Dry-Back LVT applications. If the application is done according to the required standards, an average of 350 g / m2 glue is applied.
Are LVT products fire-resistant?
LVT floor covering is fire resistant. The BFL-S1 class is the best possible class for floor coverings. It can be applied in schools, hospitals, kindergartens, commercial enterprises, and many other areas. Our floors have successfully passed all tests and have remained well within the legal tolerance of all values. Thus, it complies with strict European standards for fire safety.
Is LVT healthy?
LVT flooring is completely harmless to human health. It does not contain dangerous phthalate acid and plasticizers. It does not contain dust, mite, and other micro-organisms. With this feature, it provides a unique hygiene. In addition, LVT flooring is subject to strict EU regulations and is under supervision. In this way, you can use it in all places that require hygiene.
Can it be used with underfloor heating systems?
LVT flooring can be safely used with underfloor heating systems. The LVT quickly heats up and cools down quickly. The floor heating system must not exceed 27 ° C when floor covering with the underfloor heating system is performed. This is achieved by a programmed thermostat to connect the system with LVT floors. How and with which product should it be cleaned?
The top surface of LVT products is equipped with a durable polyurethane top coat. This protective equipment not only undertakes a protective task during transport but also protects against damage, contamination or staining during and after installation. Recommended surface cleaning materials are required. (Take the cleaning agent recommendations into consideration. -Dr. Schutz-). Never use abrasives for cleaning and maintenance. (Scouring powder, soft soap, bleach, acetone, alcohol, porous, polish wax, dissolvents etc. ..). The floor should be wiped with a damp mop at least once a week in order to maintain its beautiful appearance.
Can I replace a damaged part with a new one?
Yes, it can be replaced with a new product. It is strongly recommended that this change be carried out by an experienced master. You can contact the manufacturer Technical Service for detailed information.
Is the LVT flooring waterproof?
All of our LVT collections are 100% waterproof. Therefore, the plates and tiles will not rise or lose their integrity when exposed to water. This makes them perfect, including kitchens, bathrooms, various rooms, and basements. Note: Only the flooring material is 100% waterproof. Moisture and floods can still affect the lower layer/substrate, which can cause product deterioration. However, the flooring material can be removed. It can be dried and re-installed.
Can I use carpet on LVT?
Yes, you can use a carpet as long as it is labeled by the manufacturer as “fast”. We recommend non-painted, vinyl-supported mats and woven rugs. We do not recommend the use of rubber or latex-supported mats. Because the back face can be permanently stained by the chemical (antioxidant) floor used to prevent it from being brittle.
Do you need to apply a blanket? How should the screed be?
You don’t need a blanket for dry-back LVT floorings. All you have to do is make sure that the bonding process is done according to the installation instructions. If the floor conditions for the floating (click) system of LVT floors are smooth, dry, clean, free of cracks, and non-porous, then the blanket can be applied. LVT floor products are much more elastic than laminate or parquet flooring. In order to avoid permanent marks on the floor, we recommend that you always use a blanket that will withstand the pressure of the floor.
Is it suitable for winter gardens and large windows?
LVT products are not suitable for outdoor areas, outdoors and winter gardens. Note about the winter gardens in particular: Very high and directly exposed to 50 ° C temperature. (For example, fully glazed winter gardens …). We do not recommend the usage of it. It is important to note that the LVT flooring is applied and held at a constant temperature in the range of 18-27 ° C before and after the installation.
What is the advantage over other floor coverings?
LVT flooring does not require any polishing and maintenance like wood flooring or laminate. Unlike other indoor floor coverings, LVT is not affected by water, its special structure is also antibacterial. Since it is a multi-layer material, the sound insulation is higher than other products. Surface corrosion is at the lowest level. It can bear heavy foot traffic without any problems. LVT flooring is fire resistant. We also have a suitable design in all kinds of housing and all commercial applications with different colors, patterns, textures and a wide variety of styles and preference options. Due to its flexible structure, the LVT provides comfort while standing and working on it.
Are there any problems when using heaters such as UFO?
Ufo or legged heaters whose heat directly affects the floors should not be used. It is necessary to prevent the spot heat affecting the surface.
Can LVT be applied to the wall, especially on the walls of the bathroom?
Wall mounting can be done with the recommended adhesives of the LVT flooring. In this case, contact the manufacturer Technical Service.
How often (in m) should the dilatation profiles be applied?
If the floor to be laid with LVT is a long area, a dilatation profile should be placed at 15 m intervals. The space between the materials with the dilatation profile should be at least 7 mm. The assembly details of all the Click products should be checked with the help of a miter and a ruler before installation, and no product that might cause a miter or assembly problem should be installed.
What is the maximum load for Cm2?
For Our LVT flooring, the load weight applied per cm² must not exceed 50 kg.
What is the shelf life in self-adhesive products? How long does the glue keep its effect?
Our self-adhesive LVT products must be applied within 2 years.
Do high-heels damage LVT products?
Pointed or metal heeled shoes can damage the floor covering. Please pay attention to this. For more information, refer to the Operating Instruction Manual.
